What I Did This Weekend...A rambley style post

* 6 pages on Ava's story
* Bought all 4 July Bombshells
* Got the new Harry Potter!!!!! :o)

Saturday night a friend of ours came over with his dad and his dad's girlfriend who were visiting from Finland. Was interesting. They didn't speak English, so our friend had to translate. Don't think I'll ever be able to speak Finnish though. Man what a language. Did you know there's only one Finnish word in all of the English language? Sauna.

Doing my usual blog surfing today, found a warning from Deidre Knight. Apparently someone's impersonating her and sending out emails to e-pubs and the like. Click the link below to take a look:

Other than that, nothing much going on. Got a new hard drive for the computer that should go in this week, it'll be a second one for more space. If anyone has two internal drives, did you have to put in another fan? Dad's worried it'll overheat with just the one fan.

Lis, I can't help with a computer, not good with them at all. As for Finnish, you're right: it's a difficult language. As far as I know, one of the most difficult European languages together with Hungarian.

Sounds like a productive weekend. I would never have guessed that sauna is a Finnish word!

Finnish saunas are as excellent as Russian banyas, or that I heard.

It seems a pretty hard language. I've done some google searches on things before and I'm not sure which would be harder: reading it or speaking it. The words are SO long!! But it is nice to listen to.

Slightly productive, could have been more but I think my muse has decided to take a holiday. :o)

I hope your muse will return soon!

Thanx Olga!
I had an idea for a new story but by the time I went to get it down on paper so I could do the blurb, it was gone *sigh*

I've already started the new Harry book and love it.

Loving Harry too!! I'm about 200 pages from the end right now, almost wishing I wasn't.
