Workshops
I've been busy cleaning up the office area, organizing all my print outs from the parapsych course and finding a bunch of old workshop notes to go through as well. Some I've even forgotten I've taken. Which lead me to thinking about recommendations. A few workshops I've taken lately turned out to be duds for lack of a better word. One or two were more beginner oriented than the blurb led me to believe, but a couple others were just plain bad. If you've taken a really great workshop, let me know in the comments.
Two that I fully recommend and changed my writing:
1. Plotting Via Motivation
2. Lori Wilde's workshop on hooks and loglines. Really helped when I was querying the first ya project.
