Christmas Cookies

Made these yesterday and they are the best shortbread ever! (Had the dough in the fridge a few weeks) so I thought I'd share the recipe :o)

Christmas Shortbread Cookies

4 cups flour
¾ cup brown sugar/icing sugar half of each makes ¾ cup
1 lb butter

Soften butter. Add flour and sugars. Mix together until dough is formed. Roll dough into a log shape and refrigerate. Slice in ¼ inch thickness and bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 300F until light brown. Decorate before putting into oven. Sprinkles, nuts, cherries, ect.
Dough can be frozen for 3 months sealed in freezer.
