3 medium size bananas weigh approximately 1 pound.
A cluster of bananas is called a hand and consists of 10 to 20 bananas, which are known as fingers.
As bananas ripen, the starch in the fruit turns to sugar. Therefore, the riper the banana the sweeter it will taste.
Banana plants are the largest plants on earth without a woody stem. They are actually giant herbs of the same family as lilies, orchids and palms.
Bananas are a good source of vitamin C, potassium and dietary fiber.
Bananas are America's #1 fruit.
Bananas are available all year-round. They are harvested every day of the year.
And they're back.
Same spot at the back going forward. Dad said it's like a mohawk when I showed him where the pain starts and goes. Funny huh? Maybe not so much. So hopefully they'll subside and stay away.
On the workshop front, some of the ones from last month have wrapped. I have to give 5*s to: Plotting Via Motivation which truly changed the way I think about plotting. One of the others was an extreme dud and makes me wish I hadn't spent the money on it because it literally was that bad. Perhaps that one was the cause of my first round of migraines. Or at least didn't help them in any way.
But the workshops continue, I signed up for another 4 this month, would have been 5 but one was taking place on a forum and I've got enough to keep up with that that just sounded like an extra hassle I don't need at the moment.
