Workshops

I've been busy cleaning up the office area, organizing all my print outs from the parapsych course and finding a bunch of old workshop notes to go through as well. Some I've even forgotten I've taken. Which lead me to thinking about recommendations. A few workshops I've taken lately turned out to be duds for lack of a better word. One or two were more beginner oriented than the blurb led me to believe, but a couple others were just plain bad. If you've taken a really great workshop, let me know in the comments.

Two that I fully recommend and changed my writing:

1. Plotting Via Motivation

2. Lori Wilde's workshop on hooks and loglines. Really helped when I was querying the first ya project.

Time Flies

June's pretty well flown by. Spent most of the afternoon outside in the sun planting the last of the verbena plants and not getting any tanner. :(

My parapsych class finished two weeks ago Monday, feels odd not to be working on an essay or something. In really good news, I did exceptionally well (woohoo!!!) on my two papers and got a 97% on my final!!! I didn't expect to get so high lol I'm looking forward to taking the next level class this fall if I can swing it. Should be interesting as Ciaran promised video lectures from the field which should be fun. :o)
