Two More Months...

Till Tree Santa

Time's a flyin' (she says as she blares her Xmas mix cd lol)

Got a form R in the mail on one of my agent partials today. This one makes me scratch my head though since its from a different agent than the one I queried and who requested the pages. *shrug* If the other two come back Rs, I'm tossing STTA to the pile and trying something else. Got a new idea last night, that might be the one I go with next though its not a fit for MX (and I'm starting to think I'm not a fit there either). I'm supposed to do NaNi or whatever its called next month, but I might put down the first page or two just to get a feel for it.

Things To Do When Your Muse Up and Leaves...

~ Watch every NHL game shown on NHL Centre Ice (check)
~ google pictures of John Cena (check)
~ catch up on laundry (check)
~ tackle tbr pile (check, read three bombshells this week)
~ sort seeds (check)

I'm now considering starting a photo blog so I can finally get those Backlash photos from last year (oops! sorry!!) finally up and viewable for a few of my friends who wanted to see them.

Random Thoughts...

~Pondering signs of he's just not that into you or vice versa. If you know any, let me know :o)

~Making a list of things to get for Xmas presents. Hoping to tackle West Edmonton Mall before the holiday crowds hit and make things a nuthouse. Some of my friends give me lists which is cool but a few don't so I need to really think this year. My one good bud and critique buddy I've gotten gel pens the last two years but this year I wanted to change things up so need to look around and see what I can see for her.

~Getting a pretty good collection of seeds this year off the plants, last year not so much. But this is good and some of the plants are even still blooming. Already started the second envelope on the cosmo seeds and snapdragons and thinking about starting the other for pansy seeds.

~NHL Centre Ice definitely well worth ordering :o) So glad I thought of that this year. It was such a pain in the butt trying to listen to the games on internet radio and having it buffer. This year I just get to sit and watch and enjoy. Watched the Isles-Caps game last night. Can I just say how great the Washington FSN commentary guys are? Some of the best in the league. And it doesn't hurt they knew how to actually say my favorite player's name. Too bad DiPietro got hurt in the second though. Least Snow came in and played well!

Blah Blah Blah...

I've been away from the blogworld for a few days. What can I say, my computer doesn't like how cold my desk gets sometimes and refuses to turn on. The joys!! hehe

Up here in Canada we had a long weekend this past wknd because of Thanksgiving aka Turkey Day. Spent Sunday doing most of the cooking so all we had to do was heat everything up on Monday because we were having company - a good friend of ours brought his new girlfriend for dinner. Was an interesting evening.

Taped RAW this week, haven't seen much but the end. And can I just say whoever decided to fire JR and pull him off the announce team is a complete idiot? I will now be watching the show on mute in protest. I can't stand Coach's commentary and I doubt Lawler will even get to utter more than a few words.

Other than that, taking a break from writing right now. Little too much stress going on, so cutting back there and trying to relax. Which really seems to be a lot easier said than done lately.

I've been tagged...

Nell tagged me :o)

I'm supposed to go to my blog archive and the twenty-third post or nearest it (so I get to go back a hundred according to blogger) Find the fifth sentence and ponder it for hidden meaning then tag five others.

Alrighty, let's see what we get:
Entry Title: Advice if you know...
Fifth sentence: I'm on the fence about going.

Ah, the mantra of my life lol I was debating on whether or not to go see Smackdown here in Edmonton in May. Tickets were about to go on sale. I ended up not going *sigh* and missing the chance to see a) John Cena and b) Cena's last appearance on Smackdown. (And yes, I do seriously have a small, er, crush on Mr. Cena thankyouverymuch!)

So here we are, six months later and I still think I'm on the fence. But now its about a whole new pile of things :o) Mostly writing related wouldn't you know.

Hmmm, now I'm supposed to tag someone. But since no one visits the blog anymore, I've nobody to tag.

Here We Go...

After the discovery that even though we had a confirmation email, we weren't hooked up to Centre Ice, a 40 minute wait on hold began and voila, 10 minutes into the Islanders vs Sabres games we were hooked up and ready to go!

Ah, its nice to have hockey back.

So I watched the isles game and then I went back and forth between Coyotes vs Canucks and the Oil vs Colorado. I think I called the smurf/green giant pairing when they acquired pronger didn't I? But still, not enjoyable game to watch. And I think Georges only had one shift. Or it sure as heck seemed like it. And what the heck is with the coyotes? You have a great coach (no pun intended) so try to oh I don't know, show up to play? Other than CuJo I don't think any guy out there played a full 60 minute game.

I'm still stuck on names for Ava and Vin. So if you know of any good naming sites, shoot them my way please!! Its making me stuck and I can't afford to go much longer without getting the synopsis partial package done.

Guess that's about it...off to watch another game!

October Ramble Bamble

So far, I'd say October isn't half bad. :o)

Went out last night for a little while.

Decided to reward myself today and go to Wal-Mart where they supposedly had WWE DVDs on sale. And oh they did... *g* I managed to score John Cena word life... *sigh*
And lets just say, interesting footage of him in the extras. *eg* That was worth the $$ alone.

I grabbed two other wwe titles too, going back later in the week hoping that there were some still packed away in the boxes. But man, can they hire someone who has a clue they even stock these things? "Uh, well we don't carry WWE..." *Uhm dude, look in my basket in my hand, there are 3...yes 3 wwe dvds in the blue plastic basket.* "But we did have some box sets somewhere..." and points to the wall aka abyss of dvds. Uh yeah...let's try and find something wwe in there *rolls eyes*

So yeah...anyways...

According to astrologyzone this month, this is a key month for my career, maybe even the most important of the decade. Hmmm, well the three partials are hopefully on their way east, I had a form R in my inbox this morning from an agent who I think plain doesn't like me lol And I'm trying to figure out how to shift trouble around. And names...I need names. Because Ava and Vin have to cease being Ava and Vin at least for awhile!

Enough rambleys from me...
